NRBC Bank receives letter of appreciation from Bangladesh Bank

In recognition of its outstanding participation in an international financial inclusion initiative, NRBC Bank has been awarded a 'Letter of Appreciation' by the Bangladesh Bank.

On Sunday, June 01, 2025, Dr Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank,  received the "Letter of Appreciation" from Dr Habibur Rahman, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, for participating in experience sharing and showcasing event under the joint learning program of Bangladesh Bank and AFI (Alliance for Financial Inclusion). Md Saiful Islam Khan, Executive Director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, was present as a special guest. The Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank honoured 10 participating commercial banks for their involvement in the experience-sharing and showcasing programme.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Governor Dr Habibur Rahman said, "Financial inclusion activities strengthen the economy. By delivering banking services to people at the grassroots level, banks encourage saving habits, raise awareness about banking, and help increase individual income.
