EcoPolicy 360°: A transformative dialogue on sustainability

Over 500 attendees gathered for "EcoPolicy 360°: Reclaiming Balance with Nature", a seminar organised by Earth's Ants to discuss the future of environmental policy and sustainability.
The event brought together young leaders, students, changemakers, and experts, fostering an open exchange of ideas and solutions to address climate change.
The seminar, hosted by Shahriar Khan and Najneen Jaman Nahia, highlighted the importance of robust policies and collective action in fostering both economic growth and environmental sustainability. Earth's Ants' vision for creating a balanced relationship between nature and society was highlighted throughout the session.
Keynote speakers included Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurunnabi, UNESCO Chair on Education for Sustainable Development, who highlighted the urgency of the climate crisis, emphasizing that youth view climate change as an existential issue: "This isn't just passion; this is a survival instinct." He also discussed the potential of clean-tech solutions and sustainable innovation as economic opportunities for youth.
Abdul Alim Chowdhury, Founder & CEO of Pakapepe and Managing Director of Zeezpay, spoke about the power of technology to create sustainable solutions. He stressed the importance of aligning innovation with sustainability, saying, "This is the future." His insights inspired attendees to approach change with compassion and a sense of responsibility.
The event was a call to action, urging participants to move from insight to impact. As Dr. Nurunnabi said, "We are not merely observers of change, we are architects. This is the urgency of the moment. Numbers don't lie."
Md. Mirajul Islam, Founder & CEO of Earth's Ants, closed the seminar by emphasizing the need for systemic environmental policy reforms that are human-centered, youth-inclusive, and ecologically intelligent. He reminded the audience that EcoPolicy 360° is a space for transformation, where science, experience, and youth leadership converge to shape the future of environmental governance.
The seminar concluded with a lively Q&A session and grassroots-level discussions with youth, further solidifying the role of policy, innovation, and awareness in addressing the climate crisis.
