Eastern University's annual general meeting held
The Eastern University Foundation's annual general meeting was held today, Saturday, at the university's permanent campus.
The meeting was chaired by the outgoing president, Mr Ali Azam. The current president of Eastern University and the University Foundation industrialist, Mr Moniruzzaman Molla, also delivered a speech at the event.
During the meeting, Mr Enayet Ullah, Mr. Imroz Hossain and Mr Abul Khair Chowdhury, members of the University Board, were elected Vice Presidents of the Eastern University Foundation for 2025. Industrialist Mr Azizul Islam was elected as the Treasurer.

The meeting reviewed the university's overall progress and determined its future course of action. Eastern University is a leading private university, approved by the UGC, and accredited with a permanent certificate.
