E-traffic fine collection introduced in Rangpur with Community Bank

Rangpur Metropolitan Police has launched digital traffic fine collection via Community Bank Bangladesh PLC under a new agreement.
Md Mozid Ali BPM, Commissioner of Rangpur Metropolitan Police, and Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (current charge) of Community Bank, formally exchanged the agreement. After the signing, the Commissioner officially inaugurated the 'E-Traffic Prosecution and Fine Collection' service.
Senior officials present included Md Habibur Rahman and Md Tofayel Ahmed of Rangpur Metropolitan Police, as well as Dr Ariful Islam and Md Mamun ur Rahman from Community Bank.
The initiative aims to enhance transparency, convenience, and efficiency in fine collection by allowing citizens to pay traffic fines securely and promptly through an easy-to-use digital platform, reducing the need for in-person visits and minimising processing time.
