DIIT hosts BBA Alumni Convention 2025

The BBA Alumni Convention 2025, held on the vibrant DIIT campus, marked a grand reunion of past and present, bringing together graduates, mentors, and institutional leaders for a heartfelt celebration of achievement, connection, and shared legacy. It was an event filled with rekindling old bonds, cherishing memories, and celebrating the enduring spirit of the BBA department.

The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. A.S.M. Amanullah, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of National University, Bangladesh, who joined as the chief guest. In his inspirational speech, Dr. Amanullah emphasised the importance of alumni in shaping the future of education and praised the BBA programme at DIIT for fostering excellence and leadership in the corporate world. He also highlighted the strong industry-academia partnerships fostered by DIIT, ensuring that its degrees are not only academically enriching but also highly valued in the professional world.

Professor Dr. Fakir Rafiqul Alam, Dean (In-charge) of Postgraduate Studies at National University, attended as the guest of honour. He addressed the alumni warmly, encouraging them to continue contributing to the educational and economic growth of the country. He stressed that the strength of the Daffodil brand, combined with the experience of DIIT's Principal, would create a powerful and positive impression of National University.

Adding further prestige to the convention, Professor Al-Amin, Honorable Chairman of the Governing Body of DIIT, and Dr. Md. Ashek Kabir Chowdhury, Dean (In-charge) of the School of Undergraduate Studies at National University, graced the event as special guests. Both speakers recognised the enduring legacy of the DIIT BBA alumni, acknowledging their professional success across sectors and borders. Professor Al-Amin emphasised that the visionary leadership of the Chairman of the Daffodil Family had clearly reflected through the achievements and activities of DIIT's students and alumni.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman of Daffodil Family, who remarked that alumni are the heart of an educational institution. He highlighted the role of alumni as ambassadors of the institution and urged them to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and mentorship for future generations of BBA graduates.

A major highlight of the day was the speeches of alumni, which struck a deeply emotional chord with the attendees. The event rekindled old memories and brought smiles, laughter, and even tears of nostalgia. Alumni reminisced about their student days, rekindled friendships, and shared stories that underscored the profound impact of their time at DIIT.

The DIIT campus was abuzz with energy, joy, and heartfelt conversations, as alumni from various batches reconnected and pledged to stay involved in the growth of their alma mater. The event concluded with a networking session, where professional connections were renewed, and future collaborations were envisioned.

The BBA Alumni Convention 2025 was not only a celebration but also a reaffirmation of belonging, pride, and the enduring spirit of the DIIT family. It carried a powerful message of inspiration and solidarity for the future journey of the BBA department.
