DBCCI holds iftar mahfil in Aloki

Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI) hosted a Business Networking rapid dialogue on "Key Points on Dutch Trade Policies, Import/Export Rules, and Regulatory Compliance" at the DBCCI Iftar party on 23 March 2025 at ALOKI, Dhaka.
The experts in the dialogue shared the critical sectors, especially agriculture, IT, water resources, leather and RMG. Bangladeshi businesses should abide by the Dutch trade policies, import and export rules, and regulatory compliance—the appreciated youth group of Bangladesh, which has made a significant contribution to the ICT sector. DBCCI may take a rule to create a gateway among the youth tech group to the Dutch investors. The speakers also focused on the present contribution of the Dutch government to Bangladesh.
Mr Istiaque Uddin Ahmed, Director (Finance), Administrating Wing, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighted Bangladesh's positive business aspects and assured the ministry of its full support.
The President of DBCCI, Mr Shakawat Hossain Mamun, presided over the session. Mr. Mamun thanked the patrons and respective embassies for their continuous support for DBCCI. He thanked the Bangladesh government, the Foreign Ministry, BIDA, BEZA, the Dutch Embassy, the DBCCI Board of Directors, and the distinguished DBCCI members. He also emphasised some prior sectors like the blue economy, water resources, ICT and the Industrial 4th Revolution, hi-tech agriculture and food procession, and leather and jute goods. Prominent business leaders, Dutch partners, representatives of other Chambers of Commerce, and high government officials attended the Iftar Party.
Mr Shahid Alam, Vice President-1; Ms Meherun Islam, Vice President-2; Mr Haroon-Ur-Rashid, Joint Secretary General; Directors present were Mr Md—Rafkhat, Mr Abdul Hakim (human), and 110 distinguished members of DBCCI. Representatives from Electronic and Print media were present at the networking event. The meeting ended and was followed by dinner.
