Professor Dr ASM Amanullah, Vice-Chancellor of the National University, presided as the chief guest and laid the foundation stone.
Dr Md Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University and Daffodil Group, chaired the ceremony.

Academics, alumni, students, and well-wishers attended the ceremony.
Professor Dr ASM Amanullah said that the National University, the country's largest higher education institution, has prioritised skills-based, employment-oriented education.
He noted that the government aims to produce 200,000 skilled graduates annually to address unemployment and meet global job market demands.
He added that, as part of this initiative, the National University has launched a programme to train 50,000 women annually as technically skilled freelancers.
Professor Dr ASM Amanullah said the United Arab Emirates alone requires 25,000 skilled graduates in hospitality management each year and stressed that institutions affiliated with the National University are well-positioned to capitalise on this opportunity.
He added that institutions like Daffodil Institute of IT have played a vital role in producing skilled graduates, and that the National University will continue to support them.
Dr Md Sabur Khan said expanding higher education to the grassroots was a key objective behind the establishment of the National University by the late Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
He stressed the need for students to be equipped with relevant skills to compete in both domestic and international job markets.
Daffodil Institute of IT said the permanent campus marks a new chapter in its pursuit of academic excellence, innovation, and industry-driven education.
The new campus is expected to offer facilities for teaching, research, and student development.
The institute reiterated its commitment to producing competent graduates and contributing to national development in Bangladesh.
