CUET launches DRE project online management system
Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has launched the "DRE Project Online Management System" under an initiative of its Directorate of Research and Extension (DRE), with technical support from the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT).
Professor Dr Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiya, vice-chancellor of CUET, inaugurated the system on 16 February, 2026 (Monday).
Deans of different faculties, institute directors and all department heads were present at the programme.

CUET said the system brings the university's research activities under a digitalisation framework. It is expected to make the submission of research proposals, internal and external evaluations, and the overall research management process faster and easier than before.
