CSE  fest held at  Presidency University

The Department of CSE, Presidency University, profoundly celebrated its highly anticipated CSE FEST 2024 from 17th to 21st November, welcoming the freshers with extreme fervour and enthusiasm to kick-start their university journey.

Hence, it successfully ended on 21st November 2024 after a rigorous series of eventful five days.

The programme had a flying start with the strenuous effort of the Organizing Chair, Professor Dr. Shahidul Islam Khan, all the faculty members, all the passionate students, and the staff. Starting the events with a walking robot captured the attention of the young innovators. The series of events designed to inspire bright minds to take part in groundbreaking activities include a Programming Contest, an AI contest, a live Robot show and Robotics workshop, Industry talks, a Quiz competition, Indoor and Outdoor Games, a Photography and Story writing contest, a teacher vs. student Cricket tournament, an Inter-University Poster Presentation for students from all over the nation, and many more.

21st November marked the culmination of this festival. This auspicious event started with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the welcome address of the Organizing Chair, Professor Dr Shahidul Islam Khan. Consecutively, there were speeches from the Special Guests, Professor Dr A.H.M. Faruque (Treasurer, Presidency University) and Professor. Dr Khondaker Abdullah-Al-Mamun (Department of CSE, United International University), the Guest of Honour, Professor. Dr Md. Anwarul Kabir (Principal Adviser, Presidency University) and the Chief Guest, Professor Dr Md. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury (Vice Chancellor, Presidency University). All the speeches captivated the entire audience and added a prestigious dimension to this evening.

Next in line was the delivery of thoughts and emotions by the freshmen and the alumni. Finally, the dedication and enthusiasm of the talented students were brought to the forefront through the Cultural Show, where students got a chance to exhibit spectacular performances like songs, dances, ramp walks, recitations, and drama portraying Bangladeshi culture, heritage, and traditions. The program showcased exceptional ingenuity and ended with appreciation from all corners.
