The results will be available online through the official website of the education boards, all exam centres and institutions, and via SMS

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations were published at 2pm today (10 July).

The results are available online through the official website of the education boards, all exam centres and institutions, and via SMS, according to a press release from the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee.

The announcement applies to the education boards of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh, as well as the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Students can access their results online by visiting www.educationboardresults.gov.bd and entering the required details.

Results can also be obtained via SMS. To do so, students must type - SSC [space] first three letters of board name [space] roll number [space] year, and then send it to 16222.

A return message will provide the student's result.

Madrasa board students will need to pre-register in order to receive their results by SMS. The format is - Dakhil [space] MAD [space] roll number [space] year, and then send it to 16222.

Once the results are published, students who pre-registered will receive their results automatically.

For Technical Education Board students, the format is - SSC [space] TEC [space] roll number 2025, and send it to 16222.

All exam centres and institutions have been instructed to collect results online. 

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that results will not be available through newspapers.

This year's SSC and equivalent examinations began on 10 April 2025 and ended on 13 May 2025. 

This year, a total of 1,490,142 candidates sat for the examinations under nine general education boards in 2,291 centres in 18,084 institutions of the country.

Of them, there are 701,538 male and 788,604 female students.

Under the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, a total of 294,726 students are also expected to take the exams, with 150,893 male and 143,833 female students registered.

Besides, 143,313 students under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board are registered to sit for the exam. The students include 108,385 male and 34,928 female candidates.
