CIS-BCCI holds 11th annual general meeting

The 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Commonwealth of Independent States–Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CIS-BCCI) was held on Saturday, 5 July 2025 at Dhaka Club Ltd.
During the meeting, CIS-BCCI President Mohammad Ali Deen presented the Annual Report for 2024 and outlined the chamber's future plans alongside its previous year's activities. Vice President Jadab Debnath presented the Financial Report for 2024.
General members, Board of Directors, and honorary advisers present at the AGM actively took part in discussions on the Annual Report and Audited Financial Report, both of which were approved unanimously.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vice President Jadab Debnath. The AGM was followed by the chamber's Annual Dinner.
CIS-BCCI, a registered trade body under the Trade Organisations Rules of the Ministry of Commerce, has been working to promote bilateral trade relations between Bangladesh and CIS countries, including Russia. The chamber regularly engages with relevant government agencies and diplomatic missions to explore new trade opportunities in the CIS region, aiming to position it as the third major export destination for Bangladesh after the USA and the European Union.
