BWDB chief outlines measures to improve operations

Md Enayet Ullah, Director General of the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), met today with BWDB officials and staff at Pani Bhaban, Green Road, for a special views-exchange meeting on strengthening the Board's overall operations.
Officers from Dhaka-based offices attended in person, while field offices joined online.
Emphasizing integrity and diligence, the DG presented 39 key directives to drive timely delivery, transparency, and accountability across the organization.
Officials from various tiers of the Board, including staff representatives, spoke in support of the initiative and assured full cooperation to advance BWDB's organisational improvement agenda. The meeting concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the directives and drive sustainable progress across all levels of the organisation.
As a next step, the Board will establish monitoring teams to oversee implementation of the directives and schedule follow-up meetings to assess progress. The meeting concluded with commitments to implement the 39 directives, streamline reporting processes, and enhance inter-office communication for more effective project execution.
