BTCL to build green delta storage centre in hathazari

The establishment of a unique Green Data Storage Centre on Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited's (BTCL) 150 acres of barren land at Hathazari, Chattogram, through private sector investment under the PPP modality with the Transaction Advisory services by Asian Development Bank (ADB) will significantly impact the national economy and tech landscape.

The gracious presence of the Secretary of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Dr Mushfiqur Rahman and the Chief Executive Officer (Secretary) of the Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA), Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, has highlighted the importance of this project in the MoU signing ceremony. 

Anwar Hossain, Managing Director of BTCL,  Abul Khair Mohammad Salehuddin, Additional Secretary (Company) of MoPTIT, A K M Abul Kalam Azad, Director General( Admin and Finance) of PPPA, Hoe Yun Jeong, Country Director of ADB has signed the agreement where ADB members Takeo Konishi SARD DG, Md Maruf Hossain from BRM,

A M Al Amin and other high officials from BTCL, MoPTIT , PPPA were also present.
