BSCIC launches ‘BSCIC Bijoy Mela 2025’
The inaugural ceremony of the "BSCIC Bijoy Mela 2025," organised by the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), was held today at 11am on the BSCIC Bhaban premises.
BSCIC Chairman Md Saiful Islam inaugurated the fair as the chief guest. Senior directors and officials of various levels were also present.
This year, sixty entrepreneurs from different parts of the country are participating in the fair. Visitors will find a range of traditional and geographical indication (GI) products of Bangladesh, including Jamdani, Shataranji, Manipuri sarees, Nakshi Kantha, and various handicrafts.
The fair also features leather, jute and textile products, attractive jewellery, boutique items, and home-crafted goods. A special food zone has been arranged for visitors, offering winter pitha-puli, pure honey, mustard oil, ghee, homemade pickles, and other local delicacies.
Organised to celebrate the month of Victory, the fair will remain open to all from 1–5 December, 2025, every day from 10am to 8pm.
BSCIC has invited all to visit the fair, which aims to promote local industries and support entrepreneurial development.
