BKSP welcomes Yunnan Minzu University teachers for Chinese language programme
A three-member teaching delegation from China's Yunnan Minzu University arrived at BKSP on 14 September 2026 for a one-year stay to strengthen and institutionalise its Chinese language education programme.
BKSP Director General Brigadier General Mohammad Saif Ullah welcomed the delegation, according to a press release.
At the meeting, the director general and delegation members discussed cooperation, Chinese language teaching, and opportunities to expand access to higher education.
BKSP signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Yunnan Minzu University in 2023, creating scholarship opportunities for its trainees to pursue higher education.
Under the cooperation framework, 10 BKSP trainees are currently studying at Yunnan Minzu University.
To make Chinese language teaching more effective and up to date, BKSP has converted a classroom in its college branch into a modern language laboratory.
The facility will provide trainees with opportunities to learn Chinese and strengthen the communication skills needed for future higher education and training in China.
The institutions expressed hope that their cooperation would deepen educational, sporting and cultural exchanges while strengthening friendly relations between Bangladesh and China.
