BRAC Bank unveils north gulshan’s first digital branch

BRAC Bank has enhanced its presence in Dhaka with the inauguration of a new branch on North Gulshan Avenue, designed to offer unmatched convenience and innovative services to its valued customers.

As the bank's first 'Digital First' outlet, this branch reimagined a customer-centric model that blends personalised service with advanced technology. The branch is equipped with several well-crafted digital solutions to make banking faster and efficient. Key features include a 'DIGI Box', a 24/7 digital delivery system for secure collection of cheques and cards, and an easy digital file-sharing service for seamless transfers. To enhance the customer experience, the branch utilises a matrix of QR codes that empowers customers to make complaints and provide suggestions. A Queue Management Solution is in place to minimise wait times. A dedicated Digital Corner, guided by a digital ambassador, is available to help visitors understand and use the bank's existing digital platforms. The staff will proactively support customers in navigating services like the Astha App, enabling them to manage their banking confidently from anywhere, at any time.

The inauguration in this prestigious and commercially vital location signifies BRAC Bank's commitment to reaching a diverse customer base with best-in-class banking services. The branch also features an exclusive Premium Lounge coupled with a Locker facility, catering specifically to the needs of high-value clients. Meheriar M. Hasan, Chairperson, BRAC Bank, formally inaugurated the branch on North Gulshan Avenue on July 17, 2025. Asif Saleh, Executive Director, BRAC; Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director & CEO (in Charge); Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Branch Distribution Network, BRAC Bank; and senior officials from the branch network were also present. Commenting on the inauguration, Meheriar M. Hasan said, "We are expanding our Branch Network across the country as part of our strategic move to reach out to customers with convenient banking solutions.
