BRAC Bank signs employee banking agreement with EWU
BRAC Bank PLC has signed an employee banking agreement with East West University (EWU) to provide customised banking solutions and superior services to the university's employees.
Under this partnership, EWU staff members will enjoy a seamless and rewarding banking experience that includes salary accounts, multi-currency debit cards, credit cards, loan facilities, deposit pension schemes (DPS), fixed deposits (FD) and other exclusive privileges under BRAC Bank's employee banking proposition.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BRAC Bank, and Professor Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, Chair of the Board of Trustees of East West University and former governor of Bangladesh Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at the university premises.
From EWU, Professor Shams Rahman, Vice-Chancellor; Air Commodore (Retired) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer; Touhidul Islam, FCA, Director of Finance; and Mashfiqur Rahman, Registrar, attended the ceremony.
From BRAC Bank, Md Mahiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking; Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Branch Distribution Network; A K M Shahadul Islam, Head of Employee Banking; Syed Maheen Zubayeed, Head of Premium Banking; Syeda Mahzabeen, Branch Manager, Motijheel Branch; and Zebun Nahar, Head of Employee Banking Proposition and Senior Relationship Manager, were present along with their teams.
