BRAC Bank rolls out mobile system to boost loan recovery
BRAC Bank has strengthened its loan recovery drive by equipping frontline officials with advanced digital tablets integrated with a mobile-enabled Litigation Management System (LMS), enabling real-time access to lawsuit information at the field level.
The initiative aims to accelerate recovery efforts by providing instant court updates, improving case tracking, and supporting faster, more informed decision-making across recovery operations.
The mobile LMS transforms lawsuit management into a more transparent and technology-driven process, marking a significant milestone in the bank's digital transformation journey. The devices are being distributed in phases to recovery officials across all 64 districts, ensuring consistent and effective case management nationwide.
Commenting on the initiative, Rasheed Ahmed, Chief Legal Officer of BRAC Bank, said, 'Timely and accurate legal information is critical to effective recovery. By placing real-time litigation data directly in the hands of our frontline officials, we are significantly improving execution speed and accountability. By equipping its Legal and Recovery teams with advanced digital tools, BRAC Bank aims to expedite loan recovery from defaulters, keep non-performing loans under control, and reinforce robust governance practices.
