BRAC Bank expands footprint with new Dhanmondi Branch
BRAC Bank has inaugurated a new branch at Dhanmondi 6 in Dhaka to enhance customer access to banking services and deliver an improved banking experience.
The bank's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Tareq Refat Ullah Khan formally inaugurated the branch at Hakim Heritage Tower on 5 January, 2026.
Deputy Managing Director and Head of Branch Distribution Network Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Head of General Services Brigadier General Md Amin Akbar (retd), Senior Zonal Head (South) Taher Hasan Al Mamun, Regional Head Nakib Zaman, along with other senior officials of the bank, were present at the inauguration ceremony.

The Dhanmondi 6 Branch features a Premium Banking Lounge equipped with modern facilities to cater to the bank's priority customer segments.
Situated adjacent to Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital, the branch is strategically positioned to serve retail, SME and corporate banking customers. The new outlet is expected to play a key role in expanding BRAC Bank's footprint and strengthening its presence in the capital.
BRAC Bank currently operates a network of 310 branches and sub-branches, making it one of the largest private commercial banking networks in Bangladesh.
