bKash wins Mastercard Excellence Award in digital business for the 4th consecutive year
bKash, nation's largest mobile financial service provider, has been honoured with the 'Excellence in Mastercard Digital Business 2023-24' award for the fourth consecutive year. The accolade recognises its significant contributions to advancing financial inclusion and fostering a robust digital economy.
The award was presented during the 6th Mastercard Excellence Awards ceremony, themed 'Leading by Resilience,' held on 16 November 2024 at a hotel in the capital. Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Ahsan H Mansur handed over the award to Nishat Rahman, Chief Customer Service Officer of bKash. The event was also attended by Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager of Mastercard Bangladesh; Adnan Kabir Rocky, Head of Banking Partnership & Operations at bKash; and Shaker Bin Khorshed, Head of bKash Centre.
The Mastercard Excellence Awards recognised 26 organisations across 18 categories for their contributions to financial transactions during FY 2023-24.
