bKash–Taptap Send offer rewards for remittance users
Fifteen relatives of expatriates won motorbike, electronic appliance and device coupons by receiving the highest amount of remittances directly to their bKash accounts through 'Taptap Send', a popular money transfer operator (MTO) among expatriates.
Recently, the prizes were handed over to the winners during a ceremony held at the beach head office.
The highest remittance-receiving relative has won a motorcycle coupon worth Tk 180,000, and the second and third highest remittance recipients have won electronic appliance coupons worth Tk 50,000 and Tk 30,000, respectively. Additionally, 12 recipients (three each week) have won electronic device coupons worth 15,000, 10,000, and 5,000 Taka.

During the campaign period from March 1st to 28th, 2025, winners were selected based on the remittances they received. As remittances are considered a vital lifeline to the country's economy, the campaign objective was to inspire expatriates further to use the easiest and safest legal channels like 'Taptap Send' and bKash for sending and receiving remittances.
The bkash remittance service has become popular and is gaining trust among senders and receivers, as they can instantly transact their hard-earned money securely, conveniently, and easily. At present, expatriates can legally send remittances to their loved ones' bKash accounts through 110 international MTOs from over 140 countries that are settled at 25 top commercial banks in the country.
