bKash signs Hamza Choudhury as brand ambassador
Hamza Choudhury, footballer for the Bangladesh National Football Team and English club Leicester City, has been appointed as the brand ambassador for bKash.
Hamza, who has reinvigorated Bangladeshi football fans with renewed enthusiasm, will participate in a range of promotional activities to encourage customers to embrace cashless transactions. bKash and Hamza will collaborate to promote behavioural shifts towards digital payments and further strengthen the nation's expanding digital financial ecosystem.
A formal agreement was recently signed between bKash and Hamza Choudhury at a hotel in Dhaka. Present at the signing were Mir Nawbut Ali, Chief Marketing Officer; M Mazedul Islam, Chief Legal Officer; Major General Sheikh Md Monirul Islam (Retd), Chief External and Corporate Affairs Officer; Ashraf Ull Bari, Head of Brand; and other senior officials of bKash.
Hamza is among the most popular footballers of recent years, serving as an inspirational figure for young people both on and off the pitch. His international experience, professionalism, and positive demeanour have earned him widespread admiration. He is also engaged in social causes, including supporting street children and financing an orphanage in Habiganj, Sylhet, close to his family home.
As brand ambassador, Hamza will take part in initiatives to raise awareness of bKash's services and to promote the company's values.
