bKash enables 24/7 e-money services for agents through application

Day or night, during holidays or peak hours, bKash agents can seamlessly receive and transfer e-money 24/7 through their dedicated Agent app.

By using the app's 'B2B Send (Bank)' and 'B2B Receive (Bank)' services, agents can receive and transfer e-money up to Tk 200,000 (two lac) daily and Tk 5,000,000 (fifty lac) monthly. As a result, this increased capability and efficiency create opportunities for their business growth while ensuring more uninterrupted services for bKash customers from agent points.

bKash continuously introduces new services for its agents to facilitate their businesses. In continuation, bKash has launched a new service called 'Automated Cash Management' or '24/7 Cash Management'. It allows agents to meet customer demands immediately by instantly drawing e-money from the linked bank accounts of their Agent App. They also have the flexibility to refund e-money to these accounts whenever needed. Therefore, agents can now provide digital transaction facilities to customers anytime, even on holidays, festivals, or outside banking hours.

To avail of this service, agents need to have an account with one of the following banks: BRAC Bank, Mutual Trust Bank, Dhaka Bank, City Bank, United Commercial Bank, Prime Bank, Southeast Bank, Eastern Bank, Mercantile Bank, NCC Bank, or Jamuna Bank. The preferred bank account from these 11 listed banks needs to be linked with the bKash agent wallet. Note that the NID number, date of birth, and Tax Identification Number (TIN) must be the same for both the agent wallet and the linked bank account.
