Biman successfully completes pre-Hajj flight operations
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has successfully concluded its pre-Hajj flight operations for the Hajj 2025 pilgrimage.
The final flight, BG335, departed on May 31 2025, marking the official completion of this crucial phase.
This year, Biman transported a total of 41,902 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 108 dedicated flights, ensuring safe and orderly journeys for all passengers. In addition to operating its flights, Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG) also provided comprehensive ground-handling services for Saudia (SV) and Flynas (XY) flights, delivering the required support with care and precision.
Pre-Hajj flight operations commenced on April 29 2025. From the beginning, Biman has been actively providing services to pilgrims departing from the Ashkona Hajj Camp in Kurmitola, as well as from Chattogram and Sylhet.
Following the successful completion of the pre-Hajj phase, Biman is now fully prepared for the primary task ahead—post-Hajj return flights. Scheduled to begin on June 10, 2025, and continue until July 10, 2025, this phase aims to ensure the safe, timely, and organised return of Bangladeshi pilgrims. Biman Bangladesh Airlines is working tirelessly to make this possible.
