Baraka Power Limited holds 17th AGM
The 17th Annual General Meeting of Baraka Power Limited was held using a Hybrid System, combining a physical presence in Hotel Royal Mark, Sylhet, and an online presence on December 26, moderated by the Company Secretary, Mr Saiful Islam Chowdhury.
After reciting the Holy Quran, the Company Secretary started the main event of the meeting by welcoming the honourable board of Ddrectors and shareholders present.
In his welcome speech, Mr Faisal Ahmad Chowdhury, Honorable Chairman of Baraka Power Limited, mentioned that Baraka Group has been playing a leading role in National Development by continuously supplying electricity to the national grid. The company is expanding into new ventures by capitalising on its business success, reputation, and experience.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Fahim Ahmed Chowdhury, Honorable Managing Director of Baraka Power Limited, expressed special gratitude to the company's Directors and Shareholders for their sincere cooperation. He mentioned that the company's Consolidated NAV in the financial year 2023-24 was Tk 22.61, and its Consolidated Earnings Per Share stood at Tk. 1.12.
The shareholders' vote in the 17th Annual General Meeting approved the declaration of a 3.50% Cash dividend for fiscal year 2023-2024, along with other agenda items.
