Banglalink launches RYSE AI camp at UIU
Banglalink's AI-powered digital youth platform, RYZE, has launched RYZE AI Camp at United International University (UIU) to equip students with future-ready skills required for an increasingly AI-driven job market.
The initiative focuses on applied learning, career readiness, and real-world industry exposure through a structured and outcome-oriented curriculum, aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
RYZE AI Camp positions artificial intelligence not as a standalone technical subject but as a practical enabler across careers, work environments, and entrepreneurship. The programme is designed to help students develop critical thinking, professional identity, and workforce relevance.
The curriculum is built on three core pillars — Careeryze, AI Labs, and Sidegigs — covering the transition from campus life to employability. As part of the initial rollout, the Careeryze segment was conducted at UIU, engaging more than 600 registered students through hands-on workshops, career-focused sessions, and interactions with industry professionals.
The programme was organised by the UIU Business Club, with institutional support from the Office of the Directorate of Career Counselling and Student Affairs (DCCSA). Director of DCCSA at UIU, Nahid Hassan Khan, coordinated and oversaw the implementation of the initiative.
Speaking about the programme, Chief Digital Officer of Banglalink, Golam Kibria, said that building a sustainable career today requires practical skills and real-world exposure beyond classroom learning. He said that RYZE AI Camp aims to help students better understand industry expectations and prepare for emerging opportunities, adding that Banglalink remains committed to contributing to Bangladesh's digital future by investing in young talent.
The workshops were conducted by senior representatives from RYZE and Banglalink, including Head of RYZE, K M Raihan; Head of Strategic Business, S M Shamsur Rahman; Sales Director of RYZE, Md Forhad Hossain; Digital Marketing Senior Manager, Ala Uddin; Head of Digital Recharge, Mohammad Tahmidur Rahman; Talent Management Senior Manager, Refayat Ahmed; Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist, Ishfaqur Rahman; and Talent Management Lead Specialist, Tahseen Labeeba Preema.
