Bangladesh Public Service Commission celebrates 53rd anniversary

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) marked its 53rd anniversary on 8 April 2025 with a series of events. The celebrations began at with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Martyr Memorial, located in the PSC building courtyard.
Following the wreath-laying, balloons were released to officially inaugurate the event. A discussion session, cake cutting, and a vibrant cultural programme were held at the PSC Secretariat's 'Multipurpose Hall' from 10:00 AM onwards.
Professor Dr Mobasher Monem, Honourable Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. In his address, he congratulated everyone on the milestone and emphasised the PSC's commitment to modernity, transparency, and the integration of information technology at every stage of recruitment. He highlighted the Commission's vision to establish itself as an institution trusted by the nation, ensuring the selection of the country's brightest intellectuals for government service.
The event also featured special guests, including the PSC members, and was chaired by Dr Sanwar Jahan Bhuiyan, Secretary of the PSC Secretariat. All officials and staff of the Commission attended the occasion.
