Bangladesh PPP Authority, Danish Embassy and MAERSK discuss G2G projects

On February 4, 2025, a distinguished delegation comprising Christian Brix Moller (Chris), Honourable Ambassador to Denmark, Pieter Bas Bredius, Principal - Investment at APM Terminals, and Nikhil D'Lima, Country Manager at MAERSK, along with their respective teams, paid a courtesy visit to Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, Chief Executive Officer (Secretary) of the PPP Authority of Bangladesh (PPPA).

The delegation provided essential updates on the progress of Government-to-Government (G2G) projects, especially Laldia container terminal, under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality, highlighting the significant collaboration between the countries. The team emphasised the need to expedite specific bureaucratic processes to ensure the project's timely completion, which is vital for economic growth and infrastructural development.
