Bangladesh National Insurance declares 20% cash dividend for 2024

Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited (BNIC) has approved a 20% cash dividend for its shareholders for the financial year 2024.

The announcement was made during the company's 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held virtually on Tuesday.

The AGM, conducted via a digital platform, also approved the audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024. The meeting was chaired by the company's Chairman, Mr Mostafa Kamal.
Members of the Board of Directors present at the meeting included Mrs Beauty Akter, Barrister Hasan Rajib Prodhan, Mr Monjur Md Shaiful Azam FCMA, Mrs Tahmina Binthe Mostafa, Mr Taif Bin Yousuf, Mrs Tanjima Binthe Mostafa, Mr Wasikur Rahman,

Mr Tanveer Ahmed Mostafa, Mrs Sameera Rahman, and Mrs Tasnim Binte Mostafa.

Also in attendance were Mr Balayet Hossain Bhuiyan, Mr Mohammad Sayed Ahmed Raza, and the company's CEO, Mr Mohammad Sana Ullah. Key senior officials present included CFO Sk. Bellal Hossain FCA, Md Ferozul Islam, SEVP (Finance & Accounts) and Company Secretary Md Masud Rana.

Representatives from the company's external auditors also joined the meeting, including A.K.M. Aminul Hoque FCA, Senior Partner at A Hoque & Co., Chartered Accountants, and Abdur Rahim Mia FCA, Partner at Islam Jahid & Co., Chartered Accountants.
