Bangladesh gets its first dedicated advertising skill school

Copyshop has launched Dhaka Advertising School, Bangladesh's first dedicated advertising skill institute.
Copyshop made the announcement at the 11th edition of Copykolorob, its regular mentoring session, where industry leaders, including Nazim Farhan Choudhury, Managing Director of Adcomm; Awrup Sanyal, Agency Head at Mighty; Syed Gousul Alam, Managing Director of DotBirth; and M A Maruf, Managing Director of Crosswalk Communications, attended.
Mushfiqur Rahman Pavel, Curator of Copyshop and Founder of DAdS, said: "Advertising in Bangladesh is still taught in a traditional, guru-disciple way. Dhaka Advertising School will nurture professionals with an industry-focused curriculum led by experienced practitioners."
The institute addresses gaps in advertising education by offering structured training, mentoring, and industry-led courses designed to provide participants with practical, job-ready skills that directly prepare them for success in Bangladesh's creative sector.
