Al-Arafah Islami Bank launches ramadan remittance campaign 2026
Al-Arafah Islami Bank has launched the "Ramadan Remittance Campaign 2026" to encourage expatriate remittance clients on the occasion of Ramadan.
Under the campaign, remittance customers will have the opportunity to win prizes including a motorcycle, laptop, refrigerator and smartphones. The campaign will run at the bank's branches, sub-branches and agent outlets until 20 March 2026.
Md Rafat Ullah Khan, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, inaugurated the campaign at a function held at the bank's head office on Thursday, 19 February 2026.
Deputy managing directors Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Mohammed Hossain and S M Abu Zafar, along with Md Abdul Mubin, senior executive vice president (SEVP), and Mir Md Hasanul Zahed, executive vice president (EVP), were also present.
Speaking at the event, Khan said expatriate Bangladeshis are a key driver of the economy and remittances play an important role in national development. He urged customers to use legal and banking channels for sending remittances, adding that the campaign is intended to express gratitude to customers and further encourage them.
He said the bank remains focused on customer-centric services and aims to strengthen the trust of expatriate customers by providing modern, safe and fast services.
Khan also asked bank officials and employees to ensure quality service during the campaign and extended greetings to expatriate remittance customers on the occasion of Ramadan.
