Al-Arafah Islami Bank honours top deposit collectors with Chairman’s Award
Al-Arafah Islami Bank has recognised its top-performing officers in deposit collection with the Chairman's Award 2025, honouring their outstanding contributions during a two-month campaign.
A total of 524 officers were awarded at a ceremony held at the bank's head office on Thursday. Of them, 24 officers across 8 categories received special recognition for exceptional performance. Khwaja Shahriar, Chairman of the bank, attended the event as chief guest and handed over crests, certificates, and cash prizes to the top awardees.
The event was presided over by Md. Rafat Ullah Khan, Managing Director (Current Charge). Directors Md. Shahin Ul Islam, Md. Abdul Wadud, and Mohammad Asraful Hassan FCA were also present.

Deputy Managing Director Md. Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech. Other Deputy Managing Directors, including Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Md. Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan, and Mohammed Hossain, along with top executives, also attended the ceremony.
In his remarks, Chairman Khwaja Shahriar congratulated the award recipients and encouraged officers to adopt innovative strategies to improve the bank's deposit portfolio and expand its retail deposit base. He also stressed the importance of increasing SME investment and delivering faster, Shariah-compliant services with the highest level of professionalism.
