Al-Arafah Islami Bank achieves Mastercard Excellence Awards

Al-Arafah Islami Bank has been honoured with two prestigious accolades at the Mastercard Excellence Awards 2023-24. The bank won the Excellence in Mastercard Debit Business (Domestic) and Excellence in Mastercard Prepaid Business 2023-24 (International) awards.

Farman R. Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Al-Arafah Islami Bank, received the awards from Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, during a ceremony held at a hotel in Dhaka on November 16, 2024.

The event was also attended by Trishita Maula, Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Dhaka, Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager of Mastercard, Mohammed Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, and other senior executives.
