AIUB signs MoU to support volleyball development in Bangladesh
American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has entered into a strategic three-year partnership with the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF), formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, at the AIUB campus.
As the official education partner of the BVF, AIUB will work to advance both academic and athletic excellence, reflecting a mutual commitment to elevating the standard of sports and education in Bangladesh.
Nadia Anwar, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AIUB, and Faruque Hassan, President of the BVF, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr Md Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB; Prof Dr Manzur H Khan, Proctor of AIUB; Bimal Ghosh, General Secretary of BVF; Md Joynal Abedin, Coordinator of the Office of Sports at AIUB; and other senior officials from both organisations.
The collaboration aims to create new opportunities for student engagement, skill development, and the growth of volleyball nationwide.
