AIUB inter college football championship 2025 begins

The AIUB Inter-College Football Championship 2025 officially commenced on Saturday, February 8, at the Sports Field of American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). 

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr Hasanul A Hasan, Founder Member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, AIUB, alongside Dr Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member of the AIUB Board of Trustees; Professor Dr Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB; Professor Dr Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor of AIUB; Professor Dr Manzur H Khan, Proctor of AIUB; Mr. Abu Mia Akanda, Head of Public Relations and Mr Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports, AIUB.

 Distinguished faculty members and administrative officials, students and representatives of various colleges attended the event. Organised by the AIUB Office of Sports in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, the championship is a premier platform for inter-college competition, bringing together 36 colleges and approximately 720 students across the Dhaka Division. The six-day tournament will culminate in the grand finale on February 13, 2025, marking the conclusion of an intense and thrilling competition.
