AHC and Bangladesh Coast Guard Launch 'Investigative Interview Course'

The Bangladesh Coast Guard regularly organises various training programmes to enhance the force's modernity, professionalism, and capability. Joint training is crucial for achieving operational competence.
In line with this, the 'Investigative Interview Course,' jointly organised by the Australian High Commission and the Bangladesh Coast Guard, commenced at 10:00 am on Sunday, 2nd March 2025, at the Westin Hotel, Dhaka.
The Honourable Director General of the Bangladesh Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Mohammad Ziaul Haque, OSP, NDC, AFWC, PSC, inaugurated the training workshop. Twelve officers, including representatives from the Bangladesh Coast Guard, the Special Branch (Immigration) of the Bangladesh Police, and Bangladesh Customs, participated in the training.
The training aims to enhance the investigative skills of the participating officers significantly. Additionally, it is expected to play a vital role in the judicial process by enabling the presentation of accurate information through proper investigation. The Bangladesh Coast Guard intends to continue such initiatives in the future.
