Agrani Bank ranks first among state-owned banks in remittance
Agrani Bank PLC has won the Remittance Award 2025 in recognition of collecting a significant volume of remittance in the 2024–25 fiscal year, securing first position among state-owned banks and second among all banks in the country.
The award was presented at a programme organised by the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment on the occasion of International Migrants Day and National Expatriates' Day 2025, held on 17 December at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.
Chief Adviser to the Government of Bangladesh Muhammad Yunus attended the event as the chief guest.

Managing Director of Agrani Bank PLC Md Anwarul Islam received the Remittance Award 2025 from Adviser to the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Asif Nazrul at the ceremony.
Senior officials from various ministries and other distinguished personalities were also present at the event.
