AdventHR 4.0 returns to ignite strategic brilliance among youth

In an era where student competitions often highlight marketing and finance, Human Resource Management (HRM) remains an underexplored yet vital field. Recognising this gap, the Human Resource and Leadership Club (HRLC) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has announced the fourth edition of its flagship event—BMTF presents AdventHR 4.0 powered by Square Pharmaceuticals.

This national-level HR strategy case competition aims to foster strategic thinking, empathy and leadership among university students. Open to undergraduates from all universities across Bangladesh, AdventHR 4.0 invites teams of 3–4 members, including cross-university groups, to tackle real-world HR problems.

AdventHR 4.0 features three dynamic rounds:

  • Round 1: Unleashing HR Brilliance (25–30 June | Online)
  • Participants will submit strategic HR solutions to a real-world case. Top teams will advance to the next round and receive access to boot camps and workshops led by industry professionals.
  • Round 2: Ignition (5 July | BUP Campus)
  • Teams will tackle an on-spot HR challenge, testing their creativity, adaptability and critical thinking.
  • Grand Finale: Implication Unfolds (9 July | Radisson Blu Dhaka)
  • Finalists will present their strategies before a distinguished panel of judges from academia and the corporate sector.

The total prize pool is BDT 1,15,000. The champion will receive BDT 50,000, followed by BDT 30,000 for the first runner-up and BDT 20,000 for the second runner-up. Teams ranked fourth to sixth will each be awarded BDT 5,000. The registration fee is BDT 570, and the deadline is 11:59 PM on 29 June 2025. As the first round began on 25 June, teams registering late will have less time to complete their submissions.

"HR is no longer just a support function—it's at the forefront of innovation, inclusion and strategic growth," said a representative from BUP HRLC. "AdventHR 4.0 is designed not just to challenge students but to inspire the next generation of HR leaders."

The competition is supported by Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory Ltd (BMTF) and Square Pharmaceuticals. For details, visit the AdventHR Facebook page.
