ACI motors hands over first mahindra mini pickup, marks new segment entry
ACI Motors Limited has entered Bangladesh's sub-one-tonne commercial vehicle segment by introducing Mahindra mini pickups, aiming to provide fuel-efficient transport solutions for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
Under this segment, ACI Motors has launched two models from Mahindra & Mahindra — the Mahindra Supro Maxi Truck and the Mahindra Maxximo HD. The company stated that the Supro offers a payload capacity of up to 900kg, while the Maxximo HD can carry up to 800kg. ACI Motors added that the vehicles are equipped with fuel-efficient technology, durable chassis, and comfortable cabins, addressing daily business transportation requirements.
A handover ceremony was held at the ACI Centre in Dhaka on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, where Subrata Ranjan Das, managing director of ACI Motors, and senior officials presented the keys of the first Mahindra mini pickup to a customer. The company stated that the delivery marked its official entry into the sub-one-tonne segment.
ACI Motors noted that the models are designed for both urban and rural routes, citing manoeuvrability and load-carrying efficiency as key strengths.
The Mahindra mini pickup models are now available at authorised ACI Motors dealer showrooms nationwide. The company stated that customers will also receive after-sales support, including access to genuine spare parts.
ACI Motors stated that the move reflects its focus on improving business efficiency and delivering sustainable transport solutions.
