Fire at Apex showroom in Dhanmondi doused after 2 hours
The fire broke out on the fifth and sixth floors of the building housing the Apex showroom.
A fire broke out at an Apex showroom in the capital's Dhanmondi area this morning (10 September).
Two Fire Service and Civil Defence units responded to the blaze, while four more units headed to the scene.
The fire was brought under control at 12pm.

The Fire Service received the information about the fire at 10:05am. The fire broke out on the fifth and sixth floors of the building housing the Apex showroom, located south of Meena Bazar in Dhanmondi 27.
Two units from the Mohammadpur Fire Station reached the scene at around 10:15am and began working to control the fire, Mohammad Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector at the Fire Service headquarters, confirmed.
He said two units are currently working at the scene, while four more units are heading there considering the intensity of the fire.
However, he could not immediately provide details about the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured or killed.
