Rubana Pervin has been promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Agrani Bank PLC.

The promotion and her appointment to Agrani Bank were formalised through a notification issued on 10 April 2025, signed by Farida Yasmin, Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance.

Rubana Pervin began her career at Agrani Bank in 1993 as a senior officer.
Throughout her distinguished career, she has served with integrity and efficiency across various corporate branches, key divisions, and as the head of several circles within the bank.
She has actively contributed as a speaker in numerous training workshops organised by Agrani Bank, focusing on ICC, foreign trade, and remittance. Additionally, she has participated in various local and international training programs, including sessions in Singapore and Indonesia.
Rubana Pervin holds a Bachelor's (Honors) and master's degree in mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, as well as an MBA from the Faculty of Business Studies at the University of Dhaka.
She was born in the Kushita district. In her personal life, her husband is an engineer, and she is the mother of two daughters.
