NRBC Bank starts operation in Pirojpur

The NRB Commercial Bank Limited has launched its express banking services in Pirojpur district.

The bank on Wednesday launched its banking operations in the district, said a media statement. 

The bank's chairman Parvez Tamal presided over the inaugural ceremony through a video conference.

General Secretary of Pirojpur District Awami League Alhajj Advocate MA Hakim Hawlader, Sadar Upazilla Chairman Alhaj Md Mujibur Rahman, President of District Jubo League Alhajj Akteruzzaman Fulu, General Secretary of District Jubo League Ziaul Ahsan Gazi were present at the inaugural ceremony.

The bank's Managing Director Md Mukhter Hossain also participated in the ceremony through video conference from the head office of the bank.

On this occasion, Parvez Tamal said, NRBC Bank will always stand beside Small and Medium Entrepreneurs of the rural area during this coronavirus pandemic. 

Highlighting the importance of agriculture in the economy of the country, he said that the bank has given utmost importance to lending to farmers. 

Among others, the bank's Head of Barisal Branch GKAM Maksud Bin Harun, Head of Indurhat Branch Gopal Chandra Roy, In-charge of Pirojpur sub-branch Khalid Bin Wadud, distinguished clients, businessmen and local elites were also present on the occasion.
