An upazila chairman in Bogura has distributed chicken as coronavirus relief among 600 needy families to help them meet the demand for protein.

Sohrab Hossain Channu, chairman of Shahzadpur upazila, started distributing the relief on Wednesday morning.

Later on, he announced to distribute milk among the families.

He also distributed chicken among the poultry farm owners to save them from economic crisis.

He earlier distributed eggs and vegetables with the relief package.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, AKM Asadur Rahman Dulu, panel chairman of the district council and joint secretary of Bogura Awami League, distributed fish in different areas of the upazila.

Bogura Police Lines School and College also came forward to distribute relief among the families of the needy students. District Police Super Ashraf Ali Bhuiyan distributed a relief package of daily commodities among 200 families in the school auditorium.
