Four Mohammadpur roads locked down after 6 coronavirus patients identified

Police on Tuesday afternoon blocked the entrance of four roads in the capital's Mohammadpur after six coronavirus patients were found.
The roads are - Rajia Sultana road, some parts of Babar road, Tajmahal road and west part of Bosila.
The residents living in those areas will remain under lockdown until further notice, Mohammad Zone's Assistant Commissioner Mahmud Khan Saikat told The Business Standard.
Earlier of the day, the country confirmed that five more people, including four men and one woman, died from the novel coronavirus and 41 tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Thus, the number of confirmed cases in the country has reached 164, while the death toll stands at 17.
