The health condition of Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, founder and trustee of Gonoshasthaya Kendra, has improved.
"He was given plasma therapy for third time. Besides, no ventilator was needed since morning," said Gonoshasthaya Kendra's Public Relation Officer Md Farhad.
"His present physical condition is better than yesterday, and only oxygen is needed. Today the oxygen requirement is less than yesterday. He is now taking normal meal," Farhad added.

Dr Zafrullah felt respiratory problems on June 4 night.
Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, who tested positive for Covid-19 on May 25, is currently receiving treatment at the Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital, an institution he founded.
