Covid-19 status of capital’s 3 hospitals discarded

The health service division has directed the authorities concerned of three Covid-19 dedicated hospitals in the capital to relaunch regular health service.
The hospitals are Dhaka Mahanagar Hospital in Babubazar, Lalkuthi Hospital in Mirpur and Bashundhara Covid-19 Hospital.
The health service division has issued a notification in this regard today, saying that the number of patients both in general units and intensive care units in those hospitals has decreased significantly.

Following the situation, the government body has decided to discard the Covid-19 status of the hospitals and directed to provide treatment to general patients.
The order will be effective immediately, read the notification.
