75-year-old woman recovers from Covid-19 in Tangail
Sharbhanu was released from the hospital on Tuesday after testing negative for the coronavirus twice

A 75-year-old woman, who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus, recovered at the Tangail 250-Bed District Hospital on Tuesday.
Sharbhanu, a resident of Pawnaghata village under Ghatail upazila, was admitted to the hospital on May 14.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, the hospital's Residential Medical Officer (RMO) Shafiqul Islam said, "Sharbhanu was released from the hospital on Tuesday after she tested negative for the Covid-19 twice.
"She has defeated the virus after abiding by all the instructions from the doctors at the hospital. Thirteen more Covid-19 patients had also returned home after recovery so far. Two more patients are currently undergoing treatment here."
When Sharbhanu left the dedicated unit for Covid-19, the hospital staff, including doctors and nurses, greeted her with claps.
Responding to query, Sharbhanu pointed out that she recovered after taking medicines and following the instructions of doctors and nurses.
Meanwhile, Tangail Civil Surgeon Dr Md Wahiduzzaman said in the last 24 hours, two more people became infected with Covid-19 in the district.
As of Tuesday, the number of cases is 183, while 52 have recovered and four died so far.
