UCB signs agreement with Monipur High School and College

United Commercial Bank Ltd signed an agreement with Monipur High School and College at the bank's corporate office in the capital on Thursday.

Under this agreement, the bank will introduce real time online fees collection system for the students of the institution and automated payroll system for its teachers and staffs through over the counter (OTC) service, internet banking and digital alternate delivery channels like Ucash and Upay, said a press statement.

UCB will also extend its hand of cooperation by opening up two sub-branches at the campus of the educational institution in the capital.

The agreement signing ceremony was graced by Kamal Ahmed Majumder, state minister for Industries and an adviser of the school and Mohammed Shawkat Jamil, managing director and CEO of UCB.

Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, additional managing director of UCB, N Mustafa Tarek, its deputy managing director and Rashada Akter, chairperson of the school and Md Forhad Hossain, principal of  the institution, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Other senior officials from both organisations were present on the occasion.
