Mercantile Bank holds virtual workshop

A virtual workshop on Monitoring and Compliance Issues of Ready-Made Garments (RMG) Industry has been organised by Mercantile Bank recently.

Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, managing director & CEO of the bank inaugurated the virtual workshop, a press release said on Monday. 

A total of sixty-five officials, including heads of respective divisions at head office and branches, branch forex-in-charge and RMG cell officials at the head office took part in the virtual session.

Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury advised the participants to strictly adhere to the monitoring guidelines of RMG sector and safeguard bank's interest.

AMD & CRO Mati Ul Hasan, DMD & CAMLCO Shamim Ahmed, SEVP & Head of Treasury Division Ashim Kumar Saha, SEVP & Head of Corporate Banking Division SM Sohel Khurshid were panel speakers at the virtual workshop.

Principal of MBTI Javed Tariq moderated the virtual workshop.
