Youth sent to jail over rape of 3-year-old child in Moulvibazar
Police arrested a teenager on charges of raping a 3-year-old child in Baralekha of Moulvibazar.
The arrestee is Redwan Islam Arif (18).
The child's mother filed a case in connection with the incident.

Baralekha Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kashem Sarkar confirmed the arrest, stating that the accused was taken into custody the same day and sent to jail through the court yesterday.
According to the case statement, the incident took place on Monday (3 March) morning when the child went to buy chocolate from a nearby shop and did not return on time. The mother later found the child being undressed and assaulted by shop owner Arif.
The child was admitted to the Upazila Health Complex and later transferred to the One Stop Crisis Center at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
